She wants to brand his pen name on her hidden
skin, undress him with her teeth, tongue her way
through the arc of his throat but he’s Forbidden;
she can't mark him for her own, pin him down, lay
claim, play coy. Powerless to expose, possess, she
can’t withstand her own need. Obsessed, shown
her greed, grinding slowly, soaked, against his knee,
allows him to command, provoke, evoke low moan,
grip her hips, slip in a merciless kiss, feed her what
she knows will destroy her. All she can’t live with.
Under his hands she’s mute, thrall to torment, hot
shocks shoot through her hummingbird heart, Frantic,
hungry. Shy of sudden pursuit, unnerving surrender,
she submits to the terminal love of a stranger.
